This is where our journey begins.
Richmond and the surrounding areas are natural parts of the true beauty of the English countryside, along with the local heritage sites and the wonderful friendly people.
Our lodge is situated within a private estate, which offers beautiful natural landscaped fields and woodlands, which is situated approximately 1 mile from the center of the market town, which is around a 15 minute walk.
The lodge has 3 double bedrooms (1 en-suite), a large bathroom/shower room, open plan living space with kitchen and dining area. Fully central heated with a log-burner.
There is a large decking area with a bbq, along with adequate parking for two cars (more parking is available).
About the Area
Richmond is a handsome Georgian market town that forms the northern gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and makes a perfect place to stay for exploring the region. Best known for a sprawling Norman castle that looks out over the town, Richmond combines historical houses and beautiful scenery with an array of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants that are dotted around its cobbled market square.
You can follow in the footsteps of the Tour de Yorkshire and go cycling in Swaledale, take a walk along the river to beautiful Easby Abbey and seek out pretty nearby villages such as Reeth, Gilling West and Middleham. There are also lots of luxury Richmond holiday cottages where you can rest your heads after days of exploring.

Lodge Size & Information
Our lodge consists of a large open-plan living space which consists of a well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge.
We have three double bedrooms (1 en-suite), and separate shower room. There is also a small utility and boot room by the main entrance.
Free WIFI is also included.
Outside there is a large decking area with a bbq and dining suite, we also have sun loungers which are in the outside storage area. Car parking for 2 cars is provided adjacent to our lodge and additional parking can be arranged upon request.
